Meet the author

I’m a 40-year-old geophysicist with a persistent obsession: denoise without deleting truth. By day I interpret Earth-observation data from orbiting sensors; by night I point a telescope up and preserve the faintest structures in my images.

Over the past decade I’ve worked with datasets from professional, remote, and personal observatories and built tools that automate denoising while respecting signal. I explicitly avoid trained black-box denoisers because generative-AI hallucinations are not an option. Current quest: making my way through Halton Arp’s Atlas of Peculiar Galaxies.
